Razorback Weekend

I wrote this post a couple of weeks ago and thought that I posted it but apparently I didn't. So, here is a long overdue update on the Wyatts.....

We made the trip to Fayetteville for the first Razorback game of the year over Labor Day weekend. It was such a fun trip. The weekend was jam packed of fun things. Ava and Macy got to spend time with Gigi and Papa and Ben and I got to enjoy some adult time. On Saturday morning before the game, Craig and Jacqueline cooked a yummy breakfast for all of us at their house. Then it was time to head out to the tailgates. Mom and Dad have been meeting us in Fayetteville for football weekends since the girls were born to watch them while Ben and I go to the games. It is such a luxury to have them there. I am not sure what we do without them! After naps, Mom and Dad brought the girls out to the tailgate. It was hot, but the girls had fun playing with Brooklyn and running around the tailgate. It made mom and I a little nervous that they had such a big spot to run around and there was no way to contain them, but then they created a game of gathering sticks which provided some entertainment. We have a playroom full of toys but apparently all we really need is a pile of sticks!

Macy, Brooklyn, Ava. Love this picture!

It's even cute from the back!

After the tailgate, the real fun began for Ava and Macy. Mom and Dad took them to the Washington County Fair which just happened to be in town. They got to ride carnival rides, ride horses, see all of the animals, hold baby chicks, and eat fair food. They were in heaven!

Cock-a-doodle-doo!

Can't believe my little fraidy cats got on these horses!

holding baby chicks. As you can tell by Ava's face, this was her favorite part of the weekend. Love how nurturing Macy looks in this picture!

Mom with the girls on the teacups. Hilarious!

So sweet. Holding hands.
On Sunday, we met up with my closest college friends and some of their kids. Their were 5 adults and 6 kids (and 2 of the kiddos from our bunch were missing!). It was a fun time. We don't get to see each other enough!

Brooklyn, Macy, Ava, and Adelyn.
These four are going to be flower girls together in January at my friend, Andrea's wedding. (that's right.... flower girls again. we're professionals!).

Super Fun Weekend

I wrote this post last week but just now moved pictures from my camera to the computer so this actually happened a couple of weeks ago. Now that I have started back to work it is taking me two weeks to write one post! : )

We had such a fun weekend last weekend. Saturday night Ben and I went to Dallas to celebrate a friend's birthday. Eddie turned 35 so Stephanie put together a surprise dinner for him at Del Friscos in Dallas. There were 10 of us there and it was so nice to have an adult dinner with good food and good company.

On Sunday, we went to a Cowboys pre-season game. We got tickets from a friend of a friend and the seats were A-MAZ-ING! We were super close to the field and on the 50 yard line. They were in the Founders Club part of the stadium so all food and drinks were included with the tickets. They had buffets set up with everything from prime rib to macaroni and cheese to hot dogs. They also had a candy bar which was of course Ava an Macy's favorite part! It definitely spoiled all of us. I don't know how we will be able to ever take Ava and Macy to another game with regular tickets because they will be asking for the never-ending Sprite refills and all you can eat candy.  It was definitely a treat for all four of us!

I don't think this really shows how close we were. Notice their cute Dallas Cowboys bows!

CANDY BAR!!!

This is not a picture of Ava's weird facial expression or the guy in the blue shirt. If you look in the background at the yellow "DO" sign, you will see two men's heads. One of those heads is Jerry Jones. Ben was embarrased that I took this picture but I was just trying to document how close we were to the owner of the team!

The outside of the stadium from our parking spot. Such a nice luxury to be able to pull up and park and then walk right to the door you need.
